Famous Digital Library software Greenstone joins Osiris project.

It's a honour to announce that Greenstone incorporates into our list of Free resources on Isis software family. Furthermore, this magnificent software is the best example on how to manage a Free Software project into the Isis family.

The Greenstone team is working closely with the ISIS community to provide support for converting and enriching CDS/ISIS databases for publication on the Web or CD-ROM . Users have the possibility to convert CDS/ISIS databases "as is" to Greenstone collections (the CDS/ISIS records are treated as the Greenstone documents) or to build digital libraries of the full-text electronic documents associated with the CDS/ISIS records.

The project is hosted in "projects" menu named as Greenstone and from that node it's possible to access the project's main page, including downloads and its complete documentation.
